Hi, I’m John Calve, one of the founders behind The Way Forward.

I’m passionate about building a church and community committed to justice, healing, and radical love through a faith that tells the truth, uplifts others, and transforms communities.

My professional path has taken me from corporate boardrooms to grassroots movements, from building youth programs in New York City to working with national campaigns for racial equity and justice. I have seen how institutions lose trust and people lose hope, and I have also seen how a vision grounded in love can open the door to new possibilities.

I recognize that my relative privilege carries leadership responsibility, and I am committed to using my access and influence in service of justice, truth, and shared dignity.

Now I am helping build something new: a community where faith moves beyond private belief into courageous action.
